Mildly-Addictive is a site inspired by the mind of Frances. It includes all my random thoughts, ramblings, obsessions and day-to-day activities. It is also made to include all sorts of neat freebies for the visitors (

I started out like most unexperienced website makers.. dabbling with graphics on Horseland mostly, then decided to start up my own freewebs site called hoofbeats. It sucked at the beginning but slowly improved. Jenny discovered me and hosted me at irrefutable.net where hoofbeats grew much more and gained many awesome fans. Jenny soon ran out of room at irrefutable and hoofbeats had no home, till Jill swept in and offered to host me at too-imperfect.net as her first ever hostee! Hoofbeats lived there for quite some time, till Jill's domain expired and she no longer had any interest in blogging and decided to not renew the domain. After that, I had no host and kind of drifted away from website making for a good year or two. I moved, became really busy with school and friends and just didn't have the motivation. Plus the place I was living had dial-up internet which is just painfully slow. Then I moved back in with my mom, back with high-speed internet and my own computer, and soon found myself wishing I had a site again. I started up
iCandy but it didn't really last. I was talking to Jenny online one night, the night her dad bought her her new domain, and she offered to once again have me on as her hostee! I greatfully accepted, and with much glee and excitment set up
Mildly-Addictive.
The name Mildly-Addictive just sort of popped into my head one day. It took me many, many hours debating over a name for this site. I wrote out a big list of names and this one just stood out to me. I've been told I have a mildly addictive personality, and i'm also mildly addicted to many things such as horses, computers, cellphones, music, movies, etc. I think everyone has some mild addictions in their lives and can relate to the name.
